Back in Action
Wow! So some of you may be wondering where I've been. At one point in March, I posted just before I was headed to Tonga. Then I wrote the entry dated March 15 when I was in Tonga, but for some reason I was unable to post it to my blog. I was in Tonga until the 20th of March, and then I was home for four and a half days before heading to the Netherlands and southern Africa. I returned home from that trip on May 15 and hosted two Australian friends for a weekend. Then I started work on the 19th of May... just four days after returning home. I worked non-stop... something like 52 days in a row. I have been in and out of the stores for the past couple weeks. Now I'm out in Seattle attending a Lab Safety Training course because... I'm going back to the Ice!! I'll be working in the Crary lab again, and the course I'm attending out here will hopefully make me feel much more able to handle anything that comes my way in Crary. I'm the only non-science person, but it's good for me.I was finally able to get my page working again (thanks Dody) so I will be updating about Antarctica for another season. If you would like to know more about my travels in Tonga and southern Africa, check out my Wisconsin weblog.
