T-T-T-TONGA

I'm here. It's great! Tirzah and I managed to get a flight to the Ha'apai Islands (the middle island chain of Tonga). We were greeted at the airport by Leni, the wife of the owner of the guesthouse we had booked for our first two nights. She was quiet at first, but it only took a few minutes of Tirzah riding in the front seat to get her to open up a bit. Minutes after stepping foot into the guesthouse, we met Doris an Austrian girl in her early 20's who was traveling by herself. She asked if we minded if she tagged along with us a bit, and we found out that we had planned to be in Tonga the same amount of time as Doris. We walked the hour walk into town, and as we walked down the main street we saw a travel agency. Within minutes we had booked a roundtrip ticket to the Ha'apai Islands. Later that night we met up with Bamma and Steph, two of my roommates/suitemates from the Ice. We made plans to visit Pangaimotu, a little island off the coast of Tongatapu the next day...
