Saying Goodbye Already?
No, I'm not leaving early. But I have been saying goodbye to some amazing people in the last 2 weeks. As it gets warmer, the routes on the sea ice close which bring an end to a lot of the biology groups' studies. Just this week alone, we've sent 74 grantees home most of whom have been here since early October. Last year I really only had to say goodbye to people in February when it was time for all of us worker bees to migrate north. Working in Crary means I get to know people who are here for short field seasons of 3 weeks to the entire Mainbody season. And I hate goodbyes.

When will I see you again?
When will we share precious moments?
Will I have to wait forever?
Or will I have to suffer and cry the whole night through?
When will I see you again?
When will our hearts beat together?
Are we in love or just friends?
Is this my beginning or is this the end?
When will I see you again?
(When will I see you again?)
When will I see you again?
Are we in love or just friends?
Is this my beginning or is this the end?
When will I see you again?
(When will I see you again?)
When will I see you again?
(When will I see you again?)
When will I see you again?
(When will I see you again?)
When will I see you again?
Minus the whole love thing, that just makes it sound creepy and icky.
Just picture me serenading you with my neon polka dot green dress and some green gloves.
LA LA LA LA!!!!
Man I rock!
goodbyes are so final.... drab.
SEE YOU LATER :D
