IPY

Welcome to IPY 2007-2008!! IPY stands for International Polar Year and is something arranged by two different organizations which focuses on studies in the Arctic and Antarctic regions. It will involve over 200 projects with scientists from more than 60 nations. There was a lot of talk about it when we were on the Ice.
